World of Warcraft: Forever comes out on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST (23:00 UTC), at the same moment in every region and with no head start. The game itself comes with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time; three optional editions cost $29.99, $59.99 and $79.99 on the Battle.net Shop (€29.99, €59.99 and €79.99 in Europe), and only the two dearest include the beta, open until October 21.

The editions also bring cosmetics: the Cerulean Prideclaw mount (you still learn riding in game) and the Shen'dorei Skyseer's Garb from the Heroic Pack up, then a second mount, a second transmog set, two tabards and four pets (Zergling, Panda, Diablo and Pachimari) in the Epic Pack. The Collection is a limited offer: it leaves the shop on January 11, 2027.
Which edition to choose
- None, if you just want to play on November 4.
- The Heroic Pack, to play the new Skyborne race or claim your names before launch.
- The Epic Pack, to join the beta now, with about two weeks of it left, and have your first 30 days of Game Time covered.
- The Collection, to add Warcraft III: Reforged and its Forsaken Kingdom campaign before January 11.
The Collector's Edition: $150, shipping in February
The physical Collector's Edition costs $150 on the US Blizzard Gear Store. It holds a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins, a companion journal and a digital code for the Warcraft Forever Collection. Blizzard restocked English copies for North America, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on September 24, but orders from that restock are expected to ship and be delivered in February 2027, three months after launch, with one copy per household; Australia and New Zealand buy it from retailers such as JB Hi-Fi and EB Games. On October 6, the Gear Store showed it as sold out.
If you want its digital content at launch, you can buy the Collection on the Battle.net Shop now: some digital purchases earn a Battle.net Balance credit worth what you paid once you redeem the Collector's Edition code, by December 31, 2027. Blizzard's support article lists which ones qualify.
The beta on October 6
The beta has been capped at level 30 since October 1 in the Americas and October 2 in Europe, with the new Excavation Site: Wetlands dungeon, Razorfen Downs and Uldaman open; our level 30 patch notes cover every change. Blizzard plans to give every tester 16 Legacy points in a coming week of the beta, and to open the servers to everyone for a few hours in a "Server Slam" it hasn't dated yet. On October 8 at 6:00 p.m. PDT (noon on October 9 in Sydney), Clay Stone presents one of Forever's new dungeons in the PAX Aus opening keynote, live on Twitch. The last full day of testing is October 21, and our beta guide explains how to get in.

What WoW Forever brings
Set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, Forever returns to the original continents with the level cap at 60, more than 1,000 new quests and new regions such as Mount Hyjal, Shen'dralas, the Riverglades and Zephras Isle. It adds the Skyborne race, six new race and class pairs, nine new dungeons and Legacy, an account-wide progression in which each of 65 challenges grants a point and a character can spend 16 at launch, as our Legacy guide explains. No raid is open on day one: Blizzard's roadmap unlocks the Barrow Deeps (10 players), Hyjal Summit (20) and Onyxia's Lair (40) on December 9 and launches Hardcore in the winter; our dungeons and raids guide has the detail. Flying mounts and level scaling stay out.
