- Blizzard publishes no live status of WoW Forever’s realms before launch. This page shows its latest posts on them, newest first: a realm restart or maintenance with the time it announces, in your time zone, and how long ago it was posted. Once the realms open, it also leads to Blizzard’s server status page, which lists each realm.
- When do the WoW Forever servers open?
- On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST (23:00 UTC), in every region at the same moment: 6:00 p.m. in New York, midnight on November 5 in Paris and 8:00 a.m. in Seoul. The countdown at the top of this page shows it in your time zone.
- Why is the WoW Forever beta down?
- Blizzard restarts the beta’s realms to apply fixes, usually announced on its forums shortly before (“realm restarts at 3:00 p.m. PDT (about 40 minutes from now)”), and takes the beta offline for longer to install a new build, as on October 1. Its latest notice, with the time it announces in your time zone, is at the top of this page.
- Why is WoW Forever stuck on “Retrieving character list”?
- Blizzard’s support says that being stuck on “Retrieving character list” usually means the maintenance is not over yet. Check the latest maintenance notice at the top of this page, then Blizzard’s realm status page and its @BlizzardCS account, and try again once the maintenance has ended. If the game shows an error message instead, Blizzard has a separate support article for that error.
- What is error BLZ51901016 in WoW Forever?
- Blizzard’s support says this error, which disconnects you or leaves you stuck at retrieving the realm list, comes from a connection problem or a PC below the game’s system requirements. Its steps: check the system requirements, update your drivers and operating system, reset the game’s interface, restart your router and modem, improve your connection if you play on Wi-Fi, and close other applications. If a maintenance or an incident is announced at the top of this page, wait until it is over first.
