Where does the WoW Forever talent calculator get its data?

The WoW Forever talent calculator reads every talent tree and Legacy perk from the game client: each rank's text with its numbers, the points that open each row and the talents a talent waits on. The client build it was read from is named on the page.

How do I share a WoW Forever talent build?

In the WoW Forever talent calculator, the link keeps your whole plan: the chosen level, every point spent and the order you spent them in. Click Copy link and send it; once signed in, you can also save named builds to your account.

How many talent points do I have at each level in WoW Forever?

Pick a level in the WoW Forever talent calculator and it shows the points that level grants as the client defines them: one a level from level 10, plus early points a Legacy perk can grant. If a plan spends more than the level allows, the calculator says so.

What is the point order in the WoW Forever talent calculator?

The point order in the WoW Forever talent calculator is the path your points followed, one talent per level, so it shows how the build levels up. It is kept in the shared link and in saved builds, and you can copy it as text.
