Blizzard opens WoW Forever to everyone for a few hours on Sunday, October 19, 2026: any player with a WoW account can join the stress test, no active subscription needed. It starts at 19:00 CEST (17:00 UTC) in Europe and at 2:00 p.m. PDT (21:00 UTC) in the Americas and Oceania, which is October 20 at 5:00 a.m. in Taipei, 6:00 a.m. in Korea, 8:00 a.m. in Sydney (AEDT) and 10:00 a.m. in Auckland (NZDT). It runs on the realms WoW Forever will launch on, and every character made that day is deleted at the end, names included.
This is the "Server Slam" Blizzard promised when the beta opened: the servers open to everyone. For players without beta access, it is the first chance to play WoW Forever before its launch on November 4. Here is when it starts where you live, what Blizzard asks you to do, and what the wipe does and doesn't touch, from Blizzard's announcement of October 15.

How the day goes
- The beta closes first. Blizzard takes the WoW Forever beta offline on October 19, before the stress test opens.
- WoW Forever opens on its launch realms: "the regional hardware that it will operate on when the game goes live", in Blizzard's words, the same servers players will use on November 4.
- It lasts a few hours. Blizzard has not said when it ends. On the day, our realm status shows the WoW Forever worlds as Blizzard's realm list gives them.
- Everything is wiped, then the beta comes back. When Blizzard shuts the stress test down, it deletes every character and reopens the beta.
