Takes 4 off melee damage — and it is how you cure a Zombie Villager: throw a Splash Potion of Weakness at it, then use a Golden Apple on it. It turns back into a villager 3 to 5 minutes later.
Brew it from Water Bottle + Fermented Spider Eye: it gives Weakness (1:30). With Redstone Dust, it lasts 4:00.
