GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only: every PS5, from the Digital Edition to the PS5 Pro, and both the Xbox Series X and the Series S. No PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 or PC version is announced, and Rockstar says the console versions run at 30 frames per second for now.
Everything below is as of October 7, 2026, from Take-Two, Rockstar and the PlayStation and Microsoft stores.

How it runs: 30 fps for now
Rob Nelson, co-director at Rockstar North, said the console versions were running at 30 frames per second during a visit to the Edinburgh studio on August 27, the day the Extended Look came out, as VGC and TechRadar reported. He did not promise a 60 fps mode, at launch or later: he would have to ask the technical team.
No resolution and no frame rate have been given for the PS5 Pro, the Series X or the Series S. The "PS5 Pro Enhanced" badge is the PlayStation Store's, and neither Rockstar nor Sony has said what it changes in GTA 6.
