Frequently asked questions
- Is GTA 6 down right now?
- The answer at the top of this page is live: it comes from the official status pages of Rockstar, PlayStation Network and the Xbox network. The page checks again every minute while it stays open; Sony’s and Rockstar’s pages are read for it every 5 to 15 minutes, and each card says when. If a page couldn’t be read for more than 30 minutes, its card says so instead of showing an old state.
- Why can’t I pre-load GTA 6?
- Pre-load opens on November 12 at midnight local time, a week before release, and only for digital pre-orders on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If it’s already open where you are and the download won’t start, check the PlayStation Network or Xbox card above, then your console’s free space: the error codes above say what Sony and Microsoft advise.
- What does error CE-107928-7 mean on PS5?
- Sony says an error stopped the game from downloading. Its fix: delete the game, download it again without turning the console off, then test your internet connection. If many players get it at once, the PlayStation Network card above shows whether Sony reports a problem with the PlayStation Store, which handles downloads.
- Is GTA Online down?
- Rockstar’s card above shows GTA Online, all platforms together, from Rockstar’s own Service Status; open it and a problem names its platform. GTA Online is shown on its own: it doesn’t change the answer about GTA 6 at the top of the page.
- Where does this page get its information?
- Only from three official pages: Rockstar’s Service Status, PlayStation Network’s status page and the Xbox status page. Your browser reads Microsoft’s directly; Sony’s and Rockstar’s are read for this page every 5 to 15 minutes. We add nothing and guess nothing: their own words are shown as they write them, in their language.
