Sony makes two official GTA 6 controllers for PS5, the DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and the White Limited Edition, at $84.99, €84.99 or £74.99 each, and both come out on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. Pre-orders opened on September 10: the White is sold on PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers worldwide, while the Black is a PlayStation Direct exclusive in the US, the UK and eight countries of the European Union, and goes through select retailers elsewhere.
Both are limited editions, and Sony has not said how many it made. Everything below is as of October 6, 2026.

In Brazil, PlayStation opened pre-orders for the Black at R$599.90 at its official retail partners on September 10, as Exame and Estado de Minas reported; neither mentions the White.
Mexico was not on Sony's list when the controllers were announced, Excélsior noted on September 3, and Sony has given no price for Mexico.
The game is sold separately. Its price in your country, on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, is in our GTA 6 prices in every country, read every day.
Black or White: what differs
Both have the same design ideas, in Sony's words:
- a shimmering, colour-shifting finish that mixes the hues of a Vice City sunset with the glow of neon lights;
- palm tree details molded into the controller, which you feel under your fingers;
- official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.
The White Limited Edition is Vice City at daybreak, with its white sands and pastel skies. The Black Limited Edition is the city's nightlife. PlayStation Direct lists the same features as any DualSense for both: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, a built-in microphone and a USB-C port. The real difference is where you can buy each one.
Vice City itself, with the rest of the state, is on our Leonida map.

On PlayStation Direct, Sony offers free launch-day delivery on eligible pre-orders, and the US store limits the Black to one per order "due to high demand". Sony publishes no stock figures, so availability changes from one store to the next.
PlayStation's own DualSense pages show both editions in Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Its Russian and mainland Chinese pages do not list them.
Released on November 19, with the game
Both controllers launch "starting on November 19", the day GTA 6 comes out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; Sony adds that the exact date and availability may vary by country or region. Our GTA 6 hub counts down to that day, and our GTA 6 release time table gives the hour the game unlocks where you live.
What's in the box, and what it works with
The box holds the controller and a user manual, according to PlayStation Direct. Sony's announcement mentions no game, no code and no in-game item: the game is a separate purchase, covered in our GTA 6 pre-order guide.
Sony sells both as compatible with the PS5, PC, Mac and mobile devices. In GTA 6 on PS5, Sony says, the DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers respond to the action. Its announcement gives the limited editions no extra function, so any DualSense does the same. GTA 6 itself has no PC version announced, as our article on GTA 6 on PC explains.
Xbox, DualSense Edge, bundle: nothing announced
As of October 6, 2026, Microsoft and Rockstar have announced no GTA 6 controller for Xbox. PlayStation's DualSense Edge and console cover pages list no Grand Theft Auto VI edition, and Sony has announced no PS5 bundle with the game.
The other official GTA 6 merchandise is Rockstar's collector's box, The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. It also ships from November 19 and doesn't include the game either: see our Vice City Collection guide. Anything new Rockstar announces shows up on our Newswire tracker.
