There are no GTA 6 cheat codes yet. Rockstar has not announced any: none of the 110 Newswire posts it has tagged GTA VI mentions cheats, and the game only unlocks on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. As of October 6, 2026, every "GTA 6 cheats" list online repeats GTA V's codes.
Are there cheat codes in GTA 6?
Not that anyone can know yet. Rockstar has published no cheat, no way of entering one and no word on whether the game has them, and nobody outside Rockstar has played the version that comes out. Codes from earlier games do not carry over either: each Grand Theft Auto has had its own.
GTA 6 is not coming out on PC, PS4 or Xbox One. A "GTA 6 cheat" for those platforms, or a trainer to download, cannot be real. The platforms and the moment the game unlocks in each country are on our release time page.
We will list GTA 6's cheats on this page once they are known, each one confirmed by two public sources, never by a single post.
How cheats worked in GTA V
Grand Theft Auto V (2013) had three ways in, all in story mode:
- A button sequence on the controller, entered quickly during play.
- A phone number dialled on the in-game phone, all starting with 1-999.
- A word typed in the console on PC, opened with the ~ key.
Four of its cheats, for reference. These are GTA V's codes, not GTA 6's:
| Cheat (GTA V) | PlayStation | Xbox | PC console | Phone |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invincibility (5 minutes) | Right, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Left, X, Triangle | Right, A, Right, Left, Right, RB, Right, Left, A, Y | PAINKILLER | 1-999-724-654-5537 |
| Max health and armor | Circle, L1, Triangle, R2, X, Square, Circle, Right, Square, L1, L1, L1 | B, LB, Y, RT, A, X, B, Right, X, LB, LB, LB | TURTLE | 1-999-887-853 |
| Weapons and ammo | Triangle, R2, Left, L1, X, Right, Triangle, Down, Square, L1, L1, L1 | Y, RT, Left, LB, A, Right, Y, Down, X, LB, LB, LB | TOOLUP | 1-999-8665-87 |
| Lower wanted level | R1, R1, Circle, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left | RB, RB, B, RT, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left | LAWYERUP | 1-999-5299-3787 |
Rockstar's own support page sets the rules. You can still save with a cheat on, but achievements are switched off until you reload a save or restart the game. Some cheats are refused at certain moments ("Cheat Denied"), and starting a mission turns off the cheats meant for free roam. GTA V's cheats do nothing in GTA Online.
