WoW Forever leveling zones: every zone by level, 1 to 60

Every WoW Forever zone with the level range the beta client gives it, from the starting zones to Mount Hyjal, plus flight masters and dungeons on the way.

World of Warcraft: Forever's beta client gives every zone a level range in its Group Finder, from the seven starting zones at 1 to 14 up to Mount Hyjal at 55 to 60. Here they all are in order, with each zone's flight masters and the dungeons to run along the way. Blizzard confirms that Forever has no level scaling, so a zone's range is what you will face there.

How to read the ranges

The ranges are the Group Finder's, from the beta client we read (build 1.60.1.70009), and they overlap. Our advice, not Blizzard's: head for the zone whose range starts nearest your level, and move on once you pass its middle. The flight masters column counts each zone's own flight points by faction, neutral ones serving both; the capital cities' flight masters sit on the cities' own maps. Every zone name opens its map in our atlas, with a flight planner on each continent.

Levels 1 to 14: the starting zones

Every race begins in one of seven zones, all rated 1 to 14. Zephras Isle, the Skyborne's new starting zone, belongs to neither continent.

From level 8: the second zones

Seven zones take over from level 8, most with flight masters for one faction only: Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore and Redridge Mountains on the Alliance side, Silverpine Forest and The Barrens on the Horde side. The Barrens has the widest range, from 8 to 30.

From 18, most zones have flight masters for both factions, and the ranges widen: Stranglethorn Vale spans 28 to 50.

From level 33: the Riverglades

The Riverglades, one of Forever's new zones, opens at 33 and runs to 54; Blizzard describes more than 150 new quests there, covering much of the mid-30s to mid-40s.

From level 43 to 60, and Mount Hyjal

The last zones all reach 60, and Eastern Plaguelands and Winterspring even run to 63 in the Group Finder. Mount Hyjal, the other new zone, opens last, at 55, and its two flight masters serve both factions.

Three zones have no Group Finder range yet: Deadwind Pass, Moonglade and Shen'dralas, the new zone between Mulgore and Desolace.

Dungeons along the way

Dungeons have their own ranges, from Ragefire Chasm at 13 to Scholomance and Stratholme at 58. Ragefire Chasm sits on the Horde side and the Stormwind Stockade on the Alliance side; each page has the bosses and the loot players report.

What level is the Riverglades in WoW Forever?
