NC has handed out more free items around AION 2's global launch than most players have had time to open. Some are already in your mailbox, one needs a code, others need a Twitch account, and each has its own deadline. The first one expires when Advanced Access ends, on October 5 at 05:00 UTC. Everything below comes from NC's notices; the sources are at the end.

The gifts in your mailbox
A token of appreciation. On October 1, NC mailed every player a Battle Enhancement Scroll (Engraved) x5, to collect "until the end of the Early Access". Advanced Access ends on October 5 at 05:00 UTC, which is October 4 at 10:00 PM PDT: if you played during it, open your mailbox before then.
Queue compensation. For the long queues of the first day, NC announced an Appearance Change Voucher x1. After the maintenance that ended on October 1, it also said a compensation would arrive by mail later that day, without listing it.
Launch rewards. Everyone who creates an account and logs in before the maintenance of December 1 receives, by mail, all the pre-registration and Steam wishlist rewards:
- Advance: Pet Chest: the pet Pagati, plus one pet of your choice among Papis, Silver Blade Rotan, Konutin Worker and Black Smoke Murute;
- Advance: Wishlist Chest: Resurrection Spiritstone x10, Life Potion x100, Healing Potion x50, and 50 each of Return Scroll, Courage Scroll, Speed Scroll and Benediction Scroll, all bound.
The last chance to log in is December 1 at 11:30 PM PST, which is December 2 at 07:30 UTC; the mail then expires on December 9 at 07:30 UTC. NC writes these European times as 9:30 CEST, but by December Central Europe is back on winter time: it will be 8:30 AM in Paris and Berlin.
The coupon code TAKEFLIGHTAION2
NC's thank-you code gives Odyle Energy (Bound) x4, Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x5 and Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) x10. It works once per account, on every server, and the items cannot be traded. Enter it in Settings > Miscellaneous > Account > Enter Coupon, then press Confirm.
NC gives two end times, October 13 at 11:00 PM PDT for North America and October 14 at 08:00 CEST for Europe. They are the same moment: October 14 at 06:00 UTC. Our coupon codes page lists it, with any new code NC publishes.
Twitch Drops
There are two kinds.
On every AION 2 stream with Drops enabled. NC ran a campaign during Advanced Access, from September 30 to October 4, and runs another for the global launch, from October 5 to October 16. The launch campaign gives, by total watch time:
| Watch time |
Reward |
| 1 h |
Odyle Energy (Bound) x4 |
| 2 h |
Skin Chest x10 (Bound) |
| 3 h |
Enhancement Stone (Bound) x5,000 |
| 4 h |
Head Bow (Skin: Helm) |
| 6 h |
Soul Codex: Reset (Bound) x2 |
| 8 h |
Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x10 |
| 10 h |
Adorable Young Elim (Shoulder) |
War for Atreia. This is a separate event with 60 creators, and only their channels count. The first campaign runs from October 2 at 12:00 PM PDT to October 4 at 11:59 PM PDT (October 5, 06:59 UTC). It gives an Appearance Change Voucher at 30 minutes, Soul Codex x10 at one hour, Resurrection Spiritstone x10 at two hours and Mysterious Pet Chest x10 at four hours.
Two more campaigns are planned, on October 7 to 9 and October 12 to 14. They unlock once the creators reach a points threshold, and NC has not given their times yet. Their four-hour rewards are a pet NC calls "Two" and the Leather Crop Fit outfit.
Link the right account, and only there
NC's linking guide is clear: link Twitch to the account you actually play on. That is your Steam account if you play through Steam, and your NC (PURPLE) account if you play through PURPLE; any other account and the Drops won't arrive. If they don't, NC says not to link another account separately on NC's website: it can undo your current link and lock you out of your existing character.
Where new gifts appear
NC announces each new gift, code and compensation on its notice board. Our NC notices page shows them as they come out. The global launch guide covers the launch time, servers and factions, and the servers and transfers article explains which server to pick.
