Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returns to AION 2 on November 4, NC announced on October 23, a week after the date it had promised. The 10-player raid NC pulled from the full launch comes back with the maintenance of that Wednesday and new mechanics. Normal mode opens from item level 2,800, hard mode from 3,000. Around it, NC adds a race for titles, a 14-day login event, Twitch Drops, a dungeon event for every region and, from October 28, Odyle Energy in the mail every day. Here is each date in UTC and in NC's own times, who can enter, and what each event gives.

NC takes every region's servers down at once each Wednesday: the maintenance of November 4 starts on Tuesday, November 3 at 11:30 PM PST, 07:30 UTC, and usually lasts 3.5 hours in the Americas and Europe and 5.5 hours in Asia. Our timers count down to it in your own time, and its end is when Ludra opens. The check-in, the Drops and the Bootcamp start a few hours later, at 14:00 UTC.

Both modes are open from day one: no week of normal mode before hard. Ludra asks more than any content in the game today. Hard mode in Krao Cave and Draupnir opens at 2,600, since October 21. Of the 1,546 level-45 characters we follow in NC's armory, read again after that update, 38 had 2,600, a single one had 2,800 and none had 3,000. The best stood at 2,807, the median at 1,464.
So for nearly every player, Ludra is a goal for the next weeks rather than a raid for November 4. The Odyle Energy Boost starts a week before it to help with that: NC's own advice is to run more Expeditions and Transcendence dungeons with it.
The race for titles: Ludra Hunt
From November 4 after the maintenance to the maintenance of November 25, the first 20 parties to defeat Ludra in hard mode in each region get a title of their own, and everyone else who defeats it, in normal or hard mode, gets one too:

- Five regions race apart: Europe, NA East, NA West, South America and Asia.
- The first three titles shine: they have a purple decorative effect.
- Only during the event: a clear after the maintenance of November 25 earns no title. NC sends the titles by December 2, 11:59 PM PST.
- The Hall of Fame in the game keeps the first clears too. NC reset it for this release, its notice of October 5 said.
Ludra Conquest Check-In: 7 rewards over 14 days
Log in once a day between November 4 and November 18: each check-in unlocks the next reward. With 7 rewards over the 14 days, you can miss 7 days and still get them all.

From the maintenance of October 28 to the one of November 11, log in each day and take Odyle Energy x2 from your mail. It comes once a day for each character, so each of your characters gets its own. The mail expires 7 days after it arrives: claim it within the week.

From November 4 at 14:00 UTC to November 18 at 07:59 UTC, watching AION 2 on Twitch gives one reward per hour watched, up to 14 hours:

Daeva Bootcamp: dungeon clears for all
During the same two weeks, every clear of an eligible dungeon, in any region, counts toward shared milestones. Each milestone reached sends its rewards to every player's mail, by November 18, 11:59 PM PST at the latest.
- Conquest, normal or hard: Krao Cave, Draupnir, Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island.
- Transcendence, every stage: Shattered Arkanis, Deus Research Base.

Ludra Outfit Contest, on Discord
Until November 18 at 07:59 UTC, post one unedited in-game screenshot of an outfit that represents Ludra on NC's Discord, with your region, server and character name. NC's community managers pick three winners, 6,000, 3,000 and 1,000 Quna, and the most upvoted entry gets 3,000 Quna; every entry gets Dye Token x2. The rewards reach the winners' mail by November 25.
What Early Access players keep
NC removed Ludra at launch because Early Access players beat it at a lower level of progression than it intended, its notice of October 5 said. When the raid returns, the Ludra gear they earned then is given back to them, and the materials they spent upgrading it are reimbursed. Every Daeva who cleared Ludra in the Europe region during Early Access also gets a unique title.
