NC’s update of November 4 is out, and three of its changes reshape an AION 2 week: the Artifact Siege drops to Thursday and Saturday, a new PvP zone gives every character the same stats, and Ludra comes back as Abyssal Forge: Ludra, with two new bracelets. Here is what NC’s patch notes, published at the start of the maintenance (06:30 UTC), change for you, with the numbers NC gives.

Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) |
Both modes drop the same kinds of items, at different rates: a group that can’t clear Hard still progresses on Normal. The rewards are Ludra’s Weapon, Guard, Ludra’s Bracelet, the Abyssal Bracelet, the Sealed Abyssal Waves Wings and the Artwork: Abyssal Ludra, all bound, and a Gear Change Voucher turns into an Abyssal Forge: Weapon Selection Chest through Substance Morph. The best Forces on Hard enter each region’s Hall of Fame. NC adds that 2,800 and 3,000 only open the door: a clear asks for progression, mechanics and a Force that plays together. Ludra’s events and titles have their dates in our Ludra article.
Two new bracelets
- Abyssal Bracelet: Amplify up to level 3; it can drop in both modes, and Normal and Hard also let you pick a Gear Change Voucher.
- Ludra’s Bracelet: Amplify up to level 5; it comes through Substance Morph, from 6 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra or 3 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard). Two Normal vouchers also make one Hard voucher.
Chaotic Outer Reshanta: PvP on equal stats
A new Abyss zone where every character’s stats, skill levels and Stigma levels are set to the same values: only the bonuses of your class’s skills and Stigmas still count. NC made it to narrow the gap in Abyss Points between geared players and the rest.
- From level 45, with 3 hours a week of base playtime, extended with Outer Entry Stones.
- Rewards: Kina, Abyss Points, Common, Rare and Epic gear, the Outer Abyss Rift Stone and crafting materials, all bound; some Season Missions count there too.
- Abyss Points earned in PvP there are halved.
Sieges and bosses: the new week
- Artifact Siege: twice a week instead of three, on Thursday and Saturday, at 21:00 as before. To make up for it, each Abyss Corridor run gives 50% more Abyss Points.
- Artifact Bosses (Executor Kaira, Executor Argo and Executor Tamasa): Thursday and Saturday too, at 21:30.
- Field bosses: Eternal Gartua and High Commander Lagta for the Elyos, Immortal Gartua and High Commander Lagta for the Asmodians, come back every 11 hours instead of 12; Argo, the Spirit King, in the Abyss, twice a day, at 10:30 and 22:30.
Our AION 2 timers count the siege and its bosses on Thursday and Saturday only from today. NC still doesn’t say which clock 21:00 is on, so they keep Korea’s: if your game’s countdown says otherwise, trust the game.
Expeditions in Exploration difficulty
Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island and Ferocious Horn Den in Exploration difficulty now give Normal difficulty’s rewards: more Kina, Enhance Stones, Silentium and Soul Codex, an Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique), and refining stones and crafting materials in Normal’s amounts, but bound. The runs needed for a guaranteed reward, and the runs available, now match Conquest difficulty. The Kina falls as your Exploration runs add up:

Crafting, pets and the rest
- Crafting that can’t fail: new recipes make True Dragon and Star Dragon gear at 100%, bound and without COMBO (Great Success); Artisan to Epic gear, bound or not, serves as material. The old recipes stay, with their risk, their COMBO and their tradable gear.
- The souls of some pets, until now only in Pet Chests, also drop in Expedition and Transcendence dungeons.
- Item Source now gives each dungeon’s difficulty.
- The color palette takes a standard color code, in customization, the closet and the chat font color.
- In Europe, the content entry passes that did not reset on October 25 are given back.
- NC’s French, German, Spanish and Portuguese notes add a line the English ones don’t have: attendance rewards claimed more than once because of a server transfer are taken back.
