World of Warcraft: Forever adds 14 reputations to Classic's list, from the Kirin Tor of Dalaran to the furbolgs of Mount Hyjal, and brings back the two supply factions of Season of Discovery. The beta client we read, build 1.60.1.70124, gives each one its description, who can earn it, the standing you start at and the items it ties to a standing, which is how a reputation's rewards appear before launch. How you earn each reputation is decided on Blizzard's servers and is not in the client.

Skyborne characters start at Friendly with their own people's faction: the High Order for the Alliance's Skyborne, the Windshapers for the Horde's, plus the Kirin Tor for the High Order. The other side starts at Hated.
Dalaran and the Earthen Ring: level 30 patterns
The Kirin Tor are "an elite cadre of the most powerful wizards in the world", the conclave that leads Dalaran, home of the new City of Dalaran dungeon. The Earthen Ring, "a loose collective of horde-aligned shamans and druids", fills the same role for the Horde. At Friendly, each offers patterns for a helm and shoulders that require level 30, at skill 185:
- Blacksmithing: Skyforged Helm and Pauldrons, mail;
- Leatherworking: Gustwoven Hood and Spaulders, and Windraveled Cover and Drapes;
- Tailoring: Stormsewn Cowl and Epaulets, cloth.
The Kirin Tor's versions are named Azure, the Earthen Ring's Cloudy. The Cloudy Skyforged Helm has 9 Strength and 9 Stamina, the Cloudy Stormsewn Cowl 9 Intellect and 9 Stamina. With the beta now capped at level 30, they matter right away; our level 30 guide covers the rest. The Kirin Tor also have a tabard at Exalted.
Zephras Isle: the Skyborne factions
The Skyborne are split between the two sides, and so are their factions. The Windshapers, Horde, are the Skyborne's shamanistic spiritual leaders, who honour the elements to protect the shen'dorei way of life within Skywall. The High Order, Alliance, descend from the Highborne magisters of Eldre'Thalas and want to reclaim their forebears' arcane knowledge after 10,000 years in Skywall. Neither has rewards in the client yet.
The Nightclaw Druids, secretive druids of the Shadowgale Forest who answer to no other faction on Zephras Isle, are open to everyone. At Friendly they offer patterns for wrists, hands, waist and feet, at Honored for chest and legs, in the same four lines and in both colours, Cloudy and Azure: starter armour for levels 5 to 7. At Revered they add the Shadowgale Squirrel companion.
Mount Hyjal: the Guardians and the Barkskin
The Guardians of Hyjal, a splinter faction of the Cenarion Circle, protect Mount Hyjal, the level 55 to 60 zone. At Revered they offer the Rousing Seed Pod, for level 60 characters, which raises to two the number of Artisan's Tier items you can equip, and at Exalted a tabard.
The Barkskin Burrow are furbolgs untouched by corruption who want to bring harmony back to Hyjal. They are the only new faction you start at Hostile, so their furbolgs will be hostile to you at first.
The Riverglades: Powderfuse, Bolder'ok and the Brotherhood
Three factions belong to the Riverglades, the new zone on the east coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, whose map names both Powderfuse Port and Bolder'ok:
- Powderfuse, an arm of the Steamwheedle Cartel whose port is "home to seafaring sailors and back-alley dealers". Open to everyone, it offers level 40 gear: Crawler's Clackers, plate gloves with Stamina and attack power, the Misplaced Pantaloons and the Disengagement Ring at Friendly; at Honored a two-handed polearm called the Primitive Fishing Pole and an off-hand, Thrash's Trash. At Revered comes the Haughty Fellow's Monocle, a cosmetic.
- The Bolder'ok Clan, Horde only: former members of the Twilight's Hammer, exiled for betraying their false prophets.
- The Brotherhood of the Horse, Alliance only: outcasts of Stormwind's cavalry who settled "the unexplored lands along the eastern coast". The client does not name their zone; the Riverglades is our reading.
The Watchers: level 60 signets
The Watchers are night elf jailers and marshals who make sure nothing escapes their underground network of prisons, a description that fits Alcaz Prison, one of the new dungeons, though the client doesn't link the two. Their rewards are four level 60 rings, the Ferocious, Brilliant, Vigilant and Stalwart Watcher's Signets, offered at every standing from Friendly to Exalted: rare at Friendly and Honored, epic at Revered and Exalted. The Ferocious Watcher's Signet brings attack power and hit.
Darkspear Islands: the battleground factions
The Darkspear Raiders and the Theramore Expeditionary Force fight over the Darkspear Islands, the new 15-versus-15 battleground. Each side has the same ladder:
- Friendly: two rare trinkets at level 28 and again at 48, such as the Darkspear Voodoo Seal, which restores mana and more of it in forest and grassland areas.
- Honored: two rings and a neck at levels 28, 38, 48 and 58.
- Exalted: epic gloves at levels 50 and 60, epic shoulders at 60 and a battle tabard.
Exalted with your side in the Darkspear Islands is also one of the PvP Legacy challenges. Blizzard has not given the battleground a date.
Supply crates: the ACA and the DSL
The Azeroth Commerce Authority, Alliance, and Durotar Supply and Logistics, Horde, come from Season of Discovery, and the Legacy perk Performance Bonus confirms you turn crates in to them for Merchant's Favor in Forever. The client holds the Waylaid Supplies crates of Season of Discovery, for low-level goods such as Copper Bars, Peacebloom or Heavy Linen Bandages. At Honored each faction offers an Advertising License Application, the instructions for a Tradeskill Sign toy, and at Exalted a tabard; the ACA also has a Skyborne Tabard.
Faster reputation
The Diplomat perk in the Resourcefulness tree of the Legacy system raises reputation gains by up to 10% at five ranks; plan it in our Legacy planner. The client does not say how each faction's reputation is earned, nor list every vendor item; both come from Blizzard's servers, and new builds can add rewards. This guide follows the beta's builds.
