The surest starting point for an AION 2 build is what level-45 players already run, and we counted it. For each of the eight classes, we read 200 level-45 characters in NC's character search on October 8, 2026, 1,600 in all. Below, class by class, are the four Stigma they equip most, how far they go into the Daevanion boards and their combat power, with what the numbers say about each class.

How we counted

  • The sample: 200 characters per class at level 45, 100 Elyos and 100 Asmodians, 40 from each of the five regions of the Global game, found through NC's own character search on October 8, 2026.
  • What we kept: counts only. From each character's information we noted the Stigma equipped and their level, the Daevanion nodes opened, the combat power and the gear worn. No name, server or character is stored.
  • How to read it: a share is of all 200 characters of the class. The average level is that of the players who equip the Stigma. A median is the middle player: half are above, half below.
  • Four Stigma: most level-45 characters equip four. The four most equipped are the core of a class's build; the slots below them are where players disagree.
  • A snapshot: these are the builds of October 8. They move with patches and as players climb, and our AION 2 class guide shows the latest count on each class page.

What every class shares

  • The weapon: in every class, the Spiritforged weapon of the class is worn by 73 to 87% of each faction, enchanted to between +6 and +9 on average.
  • The Daevanion boards: the median player opens between 169 nodes (Assassin) and 199 (Ranger), spread over the boards of Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel and Triniel. In every class, the median player has opened no node at all on Azphel's board.
  • Combat power: the median goes from 58,636 (Templar) to 64,380 (Spiritmaster).

Gladiator

The most settled melee build: three Stigma are on more than three quarters of Gladiators, Zikel's Blessing, Lunge Stance and Rage Burst. The fourth slot is the only real choice, between Focused Block (44%) and Lifestealing Blade (42%). Wrath Wave (26%) is the next pick.

Stigma Equipped by Average level
Zikel's Blessing 83% 7.1
Lunge Stance 82% 7.6
Rage Burst 77% 5.7
Focused Block 44% 3.9

Combat power: median 62,273, half of them between 45,139 and 73,107. Daevanion nodes opened: median 190 (122 to 225); by board, Nezekan 50 of 88, Zikel 45 of 88, Vaizel 43 of 88, Triniel 43 of 116, Azphel 0 of 132.

The Gladiator class page lists every skill with the level that teaches it, and puts this build into the Daevanion planner.

Templar

No class agrees less. The Templar's five most equipped Stigma all sit between 54 and 59%: Empyrean Lord's Punishment, Noble Armor, Battlefield Banner, Doom Shield and Taunt. On average a Templar carries fewer than three of them and fills the rest with Shield of Protection (43%) or Nezekan's Shield (34%): the build varies from one Templar to the next. It is also the class with the lowest median combat power at level 45.

Stigma Equipped by Average level
Empyrean Lord's Punishment 59% 5.4
Noble Armor 59% 6.7
Battlefield Banner 56% 6.9

On the Templar class page, the planner starts from the nodes at least half of these players opened.

Assassin

Four Stigma, each on more than 70% of Assassins: Illusive Clone, Swift Contract, Savage Fang and Triniel's Dagger. Illusive Clone is also the one they enhance most, to level 8.4 on average. The Assassin opens the fewest Daevanion nodes of all classes, 169 for the median player.

Stigma Equipped by Average level
Illusive Clone 83% 8.4
Swift Contract 82% 5.3
Savage Fang 73% 4.2

Ranger

Vaizel's Authority is on 91% of Rangers, as many as the Chanter's Sprint Mantra: only Undefeated Mantra is more widely equipped. Bow of Blessing (79%) and Supporting Fire (69%) follow, and the fourth slot goes to Griffon Arrow (54%), with Explosive Arrow (44%) as the alternative. Rangers open the most Daevanion nodes, 199 for the median player.

Chanter

The most unanimous build in the game. Undefeated Mantra is on 95% of Chanters and enhanced to level 10.6 on average, the highest of any Stigma, and Sprint Mantra is on 91%. The last two slots go to Power of the Storm (52%) and Marchutan's Wrath (41%), with Healing Touch (28%) for those who lean towards support.

Sprint Mantra 91% 4.9

Cleric

Light of Protection (88%) and Noble Aura (73%) are the base of the Cleric. Earth Punishment (61%), Summon Resurrection (60%) and Prayer of Amplification (56%) then compete for the last two slots. Summon Resurrection is equipped often but enhanced little, to level 2.9 on average: players carry it for its effect rather than its level.

From these builds to yours

  • Start from the majority. Each class page puts the nodes at least half of these players opened, and their four most equipped Stigma, into the planner: a working base in one click.
  • A Stigma few players equip is not a bad one. It can be the right answer to one boss, one dungeon or PvP. These counts show what is common at level 45, not what is best in every fight.
