AION 2's servers go down on October 9 from 06:30 to 08:00 UTC (October 8, 11:30 PM to October 9, 1:00 AM PDT; 8:30 to 10:00 CEST) for a temporary maintenance of all services, which NC moved from October 8. It stabilises the servers, gives the four pairs of quest wings 500 more Flight Power each, and is when NC says it will hand out compensation for the cloud outage that hit 21 EU servers on October 8. Everything below comes from NC's notices, listed at the end; our maintenance page counts it down on your clock and shows when NC calls it over.
When the servers are down
NC gives one window for every service, 1.5 hours:

NC asks players to log out in a safe place before it starts. A maintenance can run late: the maintenance page shows NC's notices as they come out.

The quest wings get 500 more Flight Power
Flight Power is the gauge you spend in the air: Wind Serums refill it, and each pair of wings you own raises its maximum (their "owned effect" in the game data). NC raises the four pairs you earn through quests by 500 each, 2,000 in all:

The Elyos and the Asmodian wings change alike. With all four, they add 5,500 Flight Power instead of 3,500, on top of any other wings you own.
