Fortnite Ranked rewards for Chapter 7 Season 4 (Override)

Fortnite Override, Chapter 7 Season 4, reset Battle Royale Ranked when it launched on August 20, 2026. Six ranks this season unlock a cosmetic, from a spray at Gold to a pickaxe at Unreal. Here are the rewards with their in-game names, what changed in Ranked since launch and how long the ladder runs, from Epic's update notes.

Ranks reset for the new season, so everyone climbs back up the ladder, and each reward unlocks as you reach its rank. The Beastly Battle Bus loading screen is art by BeastWreck. The Unrealizer dates from Season 3, as its locker entry says, so Unreal players from last season may already own it.

Sprites in Ranked: in, then out

At launch, Sprites joined Ranked Battle Royale: you could collect them and they kept you company, but their gameplay powers were disabled to preserve competitive integrity. On August 28, Epic vaulted Sprites from Ranked while it evaluates whether gathering them makes sense for the Ranked loot pool. They remain in regular Battle Royale, where the season's Match Overrides, Loot Hacks and Cheat Codes also live.

New matchmaking by subregion

Since the v42.20 update in September, Battle Royale and Zero Build no longer ask you to pick a region: you choose a preferred subregion in real time, without restarting the game, under Settings > Game > Language and Region. The game looks for a match there first and widens the search if not enough players are queuing; Epic recommends Auto for most players. In North America, NA-West, NA-Central and NA-East merged into a single NA region with several subregions.

Ranked uses the new subregion system too. Competitive matchmaking stays as it was for now, with the choice between NA-West and NA-Central. In a party, matchmaking follows the preference of the player who starts the queue.

How long you have

Epic lists the Override Battle Pass as ending on November 1 (Eastern Time); the update notes don't give a separate end date for Ranked.
