Server status

Checking Roblox’s status page…

The answer comes from Roblox’s own status page, in a moment.

Is it just you?

Test whether your connection reaches Roblox: its website, the servers its app talks to as it opens, and its downloads.

Your browser asks Roblox’s servers directly, without your Roblox cookies. The games themselves run on servers a web page can’t test.

About this tool

Is Roblox down right now? Every Roblox service for players, users and creators (website, mobile and Xbox apps, games, avatars, Studio, joining games) as Roblox’s own status page reports it, checked every minute while the page is open, with current problems, planned maintenance in your time zone and Roblox’s latest incidents. If Roblox is up but won’t work for you, a one-click test tells you whether your connection reaches it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Roblox down right now?
The answer at the top of this page is live: it comes from Roblox’s own status page, read when you open the page and again every minute while it stays open. Under it, every Roblox service for players, users and creators has its state, and any problem or maintenance Roblox reports has its latest update and its times in your time zone.
Why can’t I play Roblox when every service is working?
Then the problem is most likely between you and Roblox: your internet connection, a school or work network that blocks Roblox, the app itself, or a game that is broken on its own. The test on this page tells you whether your connection reaches Roblox. If it does, close Roblox, install its latest update and restart your device.
Is it just me, or is Roblox down for everyone?
If the answer above says Roblox is up, the problem is not on Roblox’s side, as far as Roblox knows. Press “Test my connection to Roblox”: if your connection doesn’t reach Roblox, something on your network or in your country blocks it; if it does, the problem is on your device. A problem that has only just started can take a few minutes to appear on Roblox’s page.
Where does this page get its information?
Only from Roblox’s public status page, status.roblox.com, which Roblox updates itself. Your browser reads it directly: we add nothing and guess nothing, and Roblox’s own messages are shown as Roblox writes them, in English. The connection test asks Roblox’s servers directly, and only when you press its button.
What do the states mean?
Working: no known problem. Slow: the service works, with delays. Partial outage: it fails for some players. Down: it fails for everyone. Maintenance: Roblox took it offline on purpose. Security issue: Roblox is dealing with a security event. These are the categories of Roblox’s own page.
