Prime Heroes
A team hero shooter set in SuperGaming's original "Prime" universe, which Roblox calls a Roblox exclusive. Players "pick a side, pick a hero, and fight to capture crown sites". Six heroes are playable, 16 more are in development, and new ones are to arrive season by season. Roblox says early access began in September, ahead of the October launch. SuperGaming, an Indian studio, also made Showdown, one of the September games.
Octane
An open-world racing game from Ignition Switch, a studio led by Michael Loconte and part of Roblox's Incubator program. Roblox puts its emphasis on physics for realistic drifting, and on freedom: "you can do whatever you want with your car".
Starforged
An action RPG from Making Fun, also from the Incubator program, which Roblox says "fuses tactical combat, a push-your-luck extraction element, and deep progression systems in an immense sci-fantasy world". It is the only one of the four already playable: its Roblox page, "Starforged [Early Access]", calls it an "early beta" in which progress might be reset, and promises to give back any Gems bought if that happens.
Scrapbook Saga
A multiplayer turn-based RPG by FadedBFox and Xeycrow, with "a flat paper character in an arts and crafts–themed world". Groups of four fight together, with "collaborative team attacks".
The September games
- Showdown: The Showdown Cup (SuperGaming): a first-person shooter with anime-inspired abilities and an esports arena.
- Monster in the Mansion (Ubermonster Productions): cooperative survival horror for up to eight players.
- GOAT Football League (Red Wolves Studios): football played by goats.
- Nemesis (RoyalFire Legends): a competitive shooter with grappling, a hoverboard and wall-running.
- Fossil Force (Nibblebyte): dinosaurs, in player-versus-environment.
- Caramel (Elbside Studios): a 2D pixel-art farming game.
None of the ten was among the most played, trending or upcoming games on Roblox's charts on October 1. Our Roblox charts page shows each day's top 50, so you can see if one breaks through.
Before a child plays
Roblox's preview gives no age guidance for these games. Each game's page on Roblox shows its content label, and parents can limit what a child can join; our Roblox parental controls guide explains the settings.
