Jack-a-Nape, a clockwork circus chimp, is the free outfit of Fortnitemares 2026: it unlocks when you complete 26 Fortnitemares quests, and seven other rewards come on the way. The quests arrive in batches while the event runs, from update 42.30 on October 1 until November 1, 2026, according to Epic.

The first reward, after 2 quests, is a banner icon. The others are below with the number of completed quests that unlocks each, as the game's quest page shows them according to TheGamer and TechWiser:

At 16 quests, the Jack-a-Nape you get is a spray that shares the outfit's name: the outfit itself only comes with the 26th quest. There is nothing to buy along the way.
When to finish
Epic says Fortnitemares runs until November 1. The quests don't all arrive on day one: new ones come out during the event, so the 26th can only be done once the last batch is out. Leave yourself a few days before November 1.
